Masaf Spaces is thrilled to launch the Summer Internship Program 2025 in Jigjiga! This voluntary internship provides young changemakers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience, contribute to youth-led initiatives, and develop professional and leadership skills in a real-world nonprofit and social impact setting.

🧩 Internship Tracks & Required Competencies
1. Admin & Finance Intern
Support administrative and financial tasks including documentation, expense tracking, filing, and basic reporting.
Ideal for: Youth interested in accounting, office management, or nonprofit operations.
Required Competencies:
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information

2. Programs Intern
Assist with planning and implementing youth programs, workshops, and learning events. Help with logistics, coordination, and monitoring.
Ideal for: Those passionate about youth empowerment, education, and community development.
Required Competencies:
• Event or activity coordination skills
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Time management and adaptability
• Report writing and documentation

3. Communications Intern
Create content, manage social media, and support outreach. Tell Masaf Spaces’ story across platforms and engage the community.
Ideal for: Creatives interested in digital media, advocacy, and storytelling.
Required Competencies:
• Experience with Canva or design tools
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms (IG, Facebook, X, TikTok)
• Creativity and strategic thinking

4. Operations & Event Management Intern
Coordinate logistics for training, meetings, and events. Support day-to-day tasks and ensure smooth operations.
Ideal for: Fast-thinking, organized individuals who enjoy multitasking and team collaboration.

• Organizational and problem-solving skills
